Dr. Tobijas Wells
Dr. Tobijas Wells was in a car accident in 2001 and suffered from upper back pain. He was distraught trying to cope with the pain with little to no improvement in symptoms from the prescribed pain medications and muscle relaxants. This was his first time giving chiropractic treatment a chance which eventually led to his career in the field.
Dr. Wells received his BA in Sociology with an emphasis in Health and Biological Sciences from the University of Iowa in 2007. After completing his BA he returned home to Davenport to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is a graduate of the February 2011 class.
He mostly uses Diversified adjusting techniques while focusing on passive therapeutic modalities and rehabilitative exercises. Some therapeutic modalities include: manual therapy, massage therapy, Electric Muscle Stimulation, Neuromuscular Re-education, and Mechanical Intersegmental Traction. He is also certified in Activator Technique for patients that prefer adjustments with less force than manual adjustments.
During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son. In addition, he enjoys playing basketball, watching movies and woodworking.
